Our Amenities
It is our goal to make your stay as comfortable as possible. As a customer of Georgetown Yacht Basin, The Granary Marina and the Kitty Knight Inn, you are entitled to many services and conveniences! We are pleased to offer free Wi-Fi, high speed
internet access to all of our customers. Annual customers will receive their
access codes in the mail while transients will receive access codes in their

Air-Conditioned Heads and Showers
All of our heads and showers throughout the
facility are modern, air-conditioned buildings. For GYB the heads and
showers are located at the Pagoda, for I Dock the heads and showers are
located at the head of I Dock in the parking lot and for J and K docks the
heads and showers are located in-between J and K dock in the parking lot.
There are also heads and showers at Harbor View, across from the swimming
pool. The Granary heads and showers are located in the Granary Bath House.
Access codes are required for all heads and showers except for the Pagoda.
Codes are mailed to annual customers while Transient customers will find their
codes in their Transient Package. Please consult the Marina Map for
locations of our Heads and Showers.

We offer loaner bicycles to all dockage patrons
free of charge. To obtain a bicycle, please visit our Ship's Store / Harbor
Shop to sign one out and obtain a key. Each person intending to use a
bicycle must sign a release to use our bicycles. Children 16 and under
must be signed for by a parent and must wear a helmet (provided) per MD
state law. Helmets are available for anyone wishing to use one.

The view of the harbor from the picnic area is
breathtaking. For your enjoyment, we provide a number of comfortable picnic
tables as well as covered propane grills. The picnic area can be accessed
via the Dog Walk path or the Harbor View steps.

All parking at Georgetown Yacht Basin and the
Granary Marina is paved and well marked. We offer loading and unloading
areas with complimentary dock carts for your convenience.

GYB offers dinghy storage racks at several
locations around the facility free of charge to annual slip holders. Dinghy
storage operates on a first-come, first-served basis. You may also store
your dinghy in your slip as long as it is contained within the parameter of
the pilings. GYB requires that all dinghies, kayaks and small craft be
removed for the winter season.

You won't have to travel far to find anything you
need. Visit our store for all of your shopping needs. Food, beverages, ice,
gifts, boating shoes, and clothing are all in our Harbor Shop. An extensive stock of parts
and accessories is available in our Ship's Store. Visit our store's page
here for more details. Free coffee and tea all day,
every day! Doughnuts on the weekends!

Unbranded gasoline and diesel fuel are available at
our Pagoda fuel dock. Delivery of fuel via our "Facet" filtration system
eliminates the possibility of contamination. Discounts are available for
diesel fuel purchases exceeding 100 gallons.

Located in our main parking lot at Georgetown Yacht
Basin is our trash and recycling area. We encourage all of our patrons to
recycle as much of their refuse as possible. I,J and K dock customers'
recycling and trash containers are located beside their respective heads and
showers. Granary customers will find trash and recycling at the head of each
dock. Containers are well marked and plentiful. GYB will also recycle your
used engine oil. Please see an employee for assistance with oil recycling.

Our swimming pool is located at the top of the
hill, between the picnic area and Harbor View. Our pool has a magnificent
view of the harbor. Enjoy your afternoon swimming and lounging... chairs are
provided. Pool hours are from the time the docks open (typically 8 am) until
dusk, weather permitting. Heads and showers as well as trash receptacles are
all close by. Don't forget to bring your combination card or Transient
Package with the access code to enter the heads and showers!

Two Toots, our tender, will gladly transport you
within the harbor. Two Toots is berthed at the Pagoda but can be hailed on channel 71.

We have two coin operated laundry locations. The
Granary Bath House has the largest facility, which is in doors and air
conditioned. There is also an air conditioned lounge at the Granary with a
television if you wish to wait. The second location is at out Pagoda,
directly behind the Fuel Dock at Georgetown Yacht Basin. All machines
require quarters.

Our 2004 Ford Freestar Minivan seats 7 passengers
and is available for hourly rental on a first come, first served basis.

Propane Grills at the Picnic Area
Located beside our picnic area are several
complimentary propane grills. For safety reasons grills are only on while
there is dock staff on hand. Please visit our Marina page for hours of
operation by clicking here.

For your convenience, there are two public
telephones at Georgetown Yacht Basin. There is a pay phone on the main dock on the back side of the Pagoda
and there is a telephone booth in the I, J, K parking lot.

Our dock hands are some of the best on the Bay and
they are happy to assist you. Please hail us on channel 71 if you need
assistance with your lines. We will be glad to assist you into your slip or
help to secure your vessel at the fuel pier.

Georgetown Yacht Basin is a pet friendly marina.
The Dog Walk Area, where we provide complimentary doggie bags, is located
next to the Marine Store.
